i think this is the 1st time i actually celebrated Valentine's.. considering we didn't do so in sec school.. was quite fun actually, i made some sponge roses for the girls in my class and some of them made jelly or cupcakes. there were 3 kinds of jelly, n we ate them after lunch. so damn full. *puffs out cheeks* was very fun though, there's this J1 running ard acting as cupid and giving out flowers.. reminds me of Harry Potter.. >.<

this morning , something sweet happened to a girl from SR, her boyfriend, i assume, came specially to give her a bouquet, was waiting outside the gate when i walked past. He's from TJ, or TP i tink, too dark to see clearly.. haha the girl was shocked, but so sweet larr.. *jealous*. the guy is super tall. i don't like.

pe was interesting, for once.. because the school started this sports module and we get to play a sport of our choice, i chose tennis! hehe, was fun, if a bit hot.

had 5 period of GP today cus my chem teacher switched with my gp teacher.. so, 1.5 hours of lecture, followed by 1 hour of gp tutorial. was brain dead after the 1st 45 mins. and my gp teacher keep calling me because i keep falling asleep..

got 35/50 for my maths CA, not bad, but could have done better.. the teacher say the passing mark should be 50/100, not 45 because the paper was so easy..

there was this NTU talk this morning, where they talked about the courses avaliable and the criterion, psychology and sociology need A-maths O level and good GP pass respectively. the sciences courses are mostly engineering and need physics, so those are out.. those that i can take are mostly research based.. im not so sure if i should take them.. so, other than that, the admission critria is 90% academic and 10% PW, and PW need to pass, no more CCA already, unless you are really good in something..

oh, and the average lab based fee is about 20K, after subsidy, 5K. per year. can use loan though.. pay within 20 years and interest starts after graduation. non lab based is about 2K less.

my teacher said that for admission to uni:

1) AAA - can choose your course
2) AAB - can get in, with a limited choice
3) CCC - pray hard
4) CCD - go poly, no hope already.

yep. so, i need at least AAB, otherwise, i cannot go uni.

i want an NUS talk!!

Get involved in nothing, get attached to nothing, and you'll be fine..
